Peter regularly represents both defendants and plaintiffs in high-stakes intellectual property litigation. A registered patent attorney, Peter also has extensive experience in proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He advises companies on telecom, computing, software, energy, industrial, and medical technologies, among others.
At Noroozi PC, Peter has successfully represented Ericsson in numerous matters before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. These matters were settled favorably as part of significant global patent licensing agreements.
In Infodeli v. Boehringer Ingelheim et al., Peter and co-counsel successfully defended numerous pharmaceutical and software development companies against claims for over $100 million, obtaining summary judgment as to copyright claims and a complete defense jury verdict on the remaining counts after a two-week jury trial. The case was named 2020’s Top Defense Verdict by Missouri Law Weekly. Peter obtained affirmance of both wins in front of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, including the award of attorneys’ fees for his client.
